Doing my best to create a healthy habit of not forcing myself to work on art, but it always feels I'm lacking in that case. Anyone got any advice? And to any spectators, do you get annoyed when an artist doesn't post for a while?

I don't really mind when an artist posts, it is nice though to see an occasional piece. As for motivation and habit, there are some circumstances where you have to push yourself a little bit to get something going, even if it's just opening software, it's a start at least. Be firm but fair with yourself though, don't push yourself to breaking point, but don't let yourself lounge about freely with no attempt
